Marisa Pease, Lic. Ac., Owner
Marisa Pease earned her Masters degree in Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture, which is the oldest accredited institution for Chinese Medicine in the United States. She is licensed by the state of Massachusetts to practice Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is certified in Tuina (Chinese massage) by the Charles River School of Shiatsu.
Marisa also holds a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Psychology and Research from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. For her post-graduate work, Marisa studied with Master herbalist Dr. Tao Xie of Boston, Tuina Master Jeff Cote at The Charles River Institute and Rosa Schnyer, L.Ac., whose research investigates the use of acupuncture for treatment of depression.
Marisa specializes in the use of acupuncture for victims of posttraumatic stress disorder. In addition to her acupuncture practice, Marisa collaborates with the New England School of Acupuncture Research Department in the effort to further the understanding of the efficacy of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
Marisa's style of holistic acupuncture emphasizes the body's own capabilities to heal itself. She practices a blend of Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture, integrated with herbal medicine to assist her patients in regaining health and balance.

Marlena Szitanko, Lic. Ac.
Marlena is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture where she received her Master's Degree in Acupuncture. She is licensed in Massachusetts and certified under the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In May, 2005 she traveled to Uganda with the Pan-African Acupuncture Project to teach health care workers how to use Acupuncture in their own hospitals and practices.
Marlena is a compassionate woman who strives to comfort all of her patients in their journey to health. Her belief is that the human body is designed to heal itself, and with a little guidance a person can be in physical, emotional and spiritual harmony. She incorporates a mixture of Chinese and Japanese style acupuncture, as well as moxabustion (an external herbal heat therapy in assistance to acupuncture), Cupping (suction cups to increase circulation), and Tuina massage techniques based on the meridian system.
Although Marlena treats many ailments she has seen powerful results with managing pain conditions such as fibromyalgia, Carpel Tunnel, Lupus, Low Back Pain, Endometriosis, etc.
